The Compatriots of the Sandhills SAR Chapter will be conducting our First Revolutionary War Patriot Grave Marking on November 19th. Please see the Ceremony and Dedication announcement below.
At 11:00 AM, there will be a church service, followed by the nearby SAR Gravesite Marking Ceremony and Dedication. A SAR Color Guard, accompanied by a bagpiper, will also help to observe this important ceremony.
Nathan Stedman III is the Family Revolutionary War Patriot of the Sandhills Chapter Compatriot Victor Burns.
Please plan to join us to pay respect and keep the memory of our Nation’s Founding Patriots alive. Please make a sincere effort to join us for this important patriotic and Sandhills Chapter ceremony. We are striving to have outstanding representation from the SAR, DAR, Chatham County Historic Society and the public.
